Following the latest announcements by the UK Government regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have now partly re-opened our office and are resuming some of our face-to-face services.
Partly re-opening JCF office
Our priority remains the safety of our employees and their families, our clients and our contractors in the current situation.
This means that whilst we have re-opened our office, we are limiting the number of staff working in the office at any time. For example, your property manager might work 2 days each week in the office and continue to work 3 days from home. By following this approach, we can maintain safe social distancing in the office.
In addition, we have taken preventive measurements like additional cleaning, availability of hand sanitiser, one way system, etc.
If you have reason to visit the office, please liaise with your Property Manager beforehand to ensure your and their safety.
Our switchboard (phone lines) have opened again. However, because there is a limited number of staff in the office, it might not always be possible to answer your call.
We therefore encourage you to reach out to your Property Manager via the contact details provided further. Or please email firstname.lastname@example.org and your email will be passed on to the relevant person.

- Postal services have been resumed; however, we are aware that some of our properties are encountering issues with post not being delivered. Where possible, we aim to email correspondence as well.
- We therefore strongly urge all our clients to provide us with your email address and opt for email correspondence.
Payments and demands
- There might still be a small delay in processing incoming post and we encourage everyone to avoid cheque payments where possible and to make payments online or set up a Standing Order.
- Alternatively, payments can be made through our Client Portal. Instructions on how to register for this can be found here.
- Our accounts department has full access to our Qube Property Software system, and we do not expect any delays in processing payments (if made online) and allocating these to your Service Charge Account.
Use of leisure centre (if applicable)
Until further notice, all leisure centre facilities remain closed. We are monitoring the relevant government guidance and will inform all residents when we have further news.
Contractor, maintenance and out of hours service
Please be aware that if you have been diagnosed with coronavirus (or are told to self isolate), we won’t be able to attend at your property or to send contractors to you to undertake repairs etc until you are fully recovered.
Contractors can continue to provide repairs and maintenance providing safe practice and social distancing is adhered to. A contractor has the right to refuse to enter if this is not the case.
Meetings and site inspections
Zoom or similar arrangements have been made for meetings and AGM’s where possible. We propose to continue with this arrangement until such time as face to face meetings can be conducted safely and in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
Site visits and inspections are being resumed – taking into account safe distancing guidance.
Guidance for owners & residents
We fully encourage all our clients, lessees and residents living in the developments that we manage, to follow the advice provided by the Government.
If you are subletting your property, please make sure that your tenants are aware of the contents of this letter and advise you if they test positive for coronavirus.
